Bridges built for Linden Centre for Disabled Children

Children with disabilities who attend the Linden Centre for Disabled Children turned up on Monday morning to the greeted by two spanking new bridges and a newly renovated facility, compliments of the Linden Salvation Council (LSC) and community-minded persons.

Operations at the Licence Revenue Office (LRO) at Smyth Street were severely hampered again on Tuesday by another power outage compounded by a malfunctioning generator but officials pointed to improvements that have been made at the facility.

Two bodies of missing fishers found

Relatives of four fishermen who went missing over the weekend, had their worst fears confirmed when the bodies of two of the men were recovered yesterday by a search party at the mouth of the Pomeroon River.
