Guyana inks pact with EU’s SEACOP V to fight transnational crime

In a bid to strengthen the fight against transnational crimes in Guyana and across the region, the Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the European Union-funded Seaport Cooperation Project-Phase V (SEACOP V).

Wheat trials being extended – Mustapha

Impact study not needed for new Demerara River bridge

The Environmental Assessment Board (EAB) on Tuesday upheld a decision of the EPA not to require an impact study for the construction of a new bridge over the Demerara River, relying in the main on a 2017 study which had concluded that the impacts of the project were “medium and manageable”.
