Ex-cop Bailey vows to sue state over imprisonment

Former Police Sergeant Colin Bailey, who after spending six years behind bars was released following an admission from the prosecution at his trial that it never had any evidence linking him to the murder of his reputed wife of 21 years has vowed to sue the State.

Radiology services for major expansion

A pensioner is now dead while another man is currently hospitalised after they were attacked hours apart by a swarm of bees at Montrose, East Coast Demerara (ECD).

Over 100 persons vaccinated in Wakapoa

Region Two’s Regional Health Officer (RHO), Dr. Ranjeev Singh, recently disclosed that schoolchildren were amongst the one hundred persons who were vaccinated against the coronavirus in the community of Wakapoa (Pomeroon-Supenaam) which had seen a spike in cases.
