Clean-up operation underway at Brickdam station

In the aftermath of the fire which destroyed the century-old Brickdam Police Station on Saturday, a massive clean-up is underway to remove debris left behind.

President blasts GFS over performance at Brickdam fire

Expressing disappointment in the Guyana Fire Service’s (GFS) “poor at best” response to the fire which ravaged the Brickdam Police Station yesterday, President Irfaan Ali this morning  blasted firefighters and warned that their lax approach will not be tolerated.

Fire devastates Brickdam station

A fire of unknown origin destroyed more than an estimated 80% of the Brickdam Police Station on Saturday, dealing a huge blow to the operations of the Guyana Police Force in the capital city.
