Trinis changing travel plans over Trump immigration orders

(Trinidad Guardian) Trinidadians living in the United States are being forced to adjust their travel plans as their potent anxiety reached fever pitch in the wake of an announcement on Thursday by US President Donald Trump to roll out new immigration measures tailored to a federal court decision that blocked his initial travel ban.

Parking meter contract can be revoked

Despite a court order, Guyana Power and Light Inc (GPL) may never be able to recover the more than $184 million owed by Bill Direct (Guyana) Incorporated for customer payments, according to a 2016 audit, which has found that it was the gross negligence and complicity by GPL’s management and executive officers that has resulted in the loss.
