Barbados spared major damage from Dorian

(Barbados Government Information Service) No major incidents, damage or injuries were reported across Barbados following the passage of Tropical Storm Dorian Monday night and early yesterday morning.

Storm Dorian churns toward Barbados, sending island into shutdown

BRIDGETOWN, (Reuters) – Tropical Storm Dorian gathered strength today as it barreled west toward Barbados, where residents stocked up on food to hunker down for an onslaught of heavy wind and rain.

(Barbados Nation) The Court of Appeal today released former condemned murderer Omar DaCosta Holder from prison saying his case should not have gone to the jury in light of his unsigned written statement taken while he was in police custody.
