Trinidad fishermen still suffering from oil spill

(Trinidad Express) Fishermen impacted by an oil spill in the south-western peninsula last week have not yet returned to work, says president of the Fullerton Fishing Association, Paula Buckmire.

Death toll from violence in Ecuador prisons hits 31

QUITO,  (Reuters) – Ecuador’s attorney general raised the death toll from a wave of violence over the weekend in one the country’s most dangerous jails to 31 late yesterday, after the government earlier declared a 60-day state of emergency for the country’s prisons.

IMF expects deal with Argentina in the coming days
