Argentina president seeks to impeach Supreme Court chief after clash

BUENOS AIRES,  (Reuters) – Argentine President Alberto Fernandez  yesterday said he would seek to impeach the head of the Supreme Court, after the two powers recently clashed over a court decision to award more state funds to the city of Buenos Aires.

Venezuela opposition removes interim President Guaido

CARACAS, (Reuters) – Venezuela’s opposition national assembly voted yesterday to remove interim President Juan Guaido, dissolve his government and appoint a commission to govern the country’s foreign assets, as lawmakers seek a united front ahead of elections slated for 2024.
