Rowley: CPL could spark economic resurgence

(Trinidad Guardian) Trinidad and Tobago is expected to generate a new revenue stream that has dried up during the COVID-19 pandemic by hosting the 2020 edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley said yesterday.

Reward offered for info on murder of Trinidad cop

(Trinidad Express) The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service Social and Welfare Association has offered a $10,000 reward for any information which may lead to the arrests of those responsible for the murder of Police Constable Allen Moseley.

Trinidad dancehall artistes in peace deal

(Trinidad Guardian) One day before local dancehall artiste Kyle “Rebel Sixx” George was murdered, a group of Trinibad artistes from opposing sides, some with alleged affiliations to the Rasta City and Muslim gangs, had come together for a peace deal.
