Sharp rise in Trinidad flour price

(Trinidad Guardian) The hike in the price of flour, announced yesterday by the National Flour Mills (NFM), has triggered a panicked ripple effect in the country, especially after the company admitted that prices could rise again in the future.

Trinidad Coast Guard intercepts illegal Venezuelans

(Trinidad Guardian) Dozens of Venezuelan nationals who were attempting to enter Trinidad and Tobago illegally in two separate vessels, were intercepted by the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard (TTCG) during patrols carried out over the Christmas holiday weekend. 

Rizanne Roach-Lucas, who was six months pregnant, was murdered in Talparo while she made her way to finalise the purchase of property. Roach-Lucas was an Open Scholarship winner.

(Trinidad Guardian) Hours after news broke that Rizanne Roach-Lucas, 26, who was six months pregnant, was found shot dead in her car at Todd’s Road in Talparo, close friends are crying out for justice.
