Trinidad’s Sinopharm vaccines arrive

One hundred thousand (100,000) doses of the World Health Organisation (WHO) approved Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine, which were manufactured by the Beijing Institute of Biological Products Co.

(Trinidad Guardian) Albert Ragbir, an elder who served at the Couva Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church, is among the latest group of citizens who have died from COVID-19.

(Trinidad Guardian) Almost 20 hours after Trinidad and Tobago was placed under a State of Emergency (SoE) as of midnight from May 15—the authorities spent considerable time yesterday, drafting the new regulations which now includes a ban on the consumption of alcohol in public places; immediate cessation of all outdoor exercise and sports.

Nine more die from COVID in Trinidad

(Trinidad Guardian) The latest update from the Ministry of Health is confirming that 9 more people have been lost to COVID-19, bringing the national death toll to 265—an increase from the 256 reported on Thursday 13 May 2021.
