Israel pulverises Gaza after Hamas attack as it collects its dead

JERUSALEM/GAZA/KFER AZA,  (Reuters) – Israeli air strikes hammered Gaza today, razing entire districts and filling morgues with dead Palestinians as Israel took revenge for the Hamas assaults that have triggered some of the worst blood-letting in 75 years of conflict.

Finland says ‘outside activity’ likely damaged gas pipeline, telecoms cable

HELSINKI, (Reuters) – A subsea gas pipeline and a telecommunications cable connecting Finland and Estonia under the Baltic Sea have been damaged in what may have been a deliberate act, the Finnish government said today.

Hamas threatens to kill captives if Israel strikes civilians

EU backtracks on Palestinian aid freeze over Hamas attack

US says Saudi-Israel ties may have motivated Hamas attack

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said part of the motivation for Hamas’ latest attack on Israel may have been disrupting a potential normalizing of Israel-Saudi Arabia ties and added Washington will announce new assistance for Israel today.
