Thai court orders dissolution of anti-establishment election winner

BANGKOK, (Reuters) – Thailand’s Constitutional Court today ordered the dissolution of the anti-establishment opposition party Move Forward, ruling its campaign to amend a law that protects the monarchy from criticism risked undermining the democratic system.

Ukraine pierces Russian border triggering major battles

MOSCOW,  (Reuters) – Russia said today that it was fighting intense battles against Ukrainian forces which had penetrated Russia’s Kursk region in one of the largest incursions into Russia since the Ukraine war began in February 2022.

ATLANTA, (Reuters) –  Tropical Storm Debby inundated coastal Georgia and South Carolina with a deluge of rain that could bring “catastrophic flooding” to Charleston, Savannah and other cities on Tuesday, a day after it slammed into Florida’s Gulf Coast as a hurricane.

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – A U.S. judge ruled yesterday that Google violated antitrust law, spending billions of dollars to create an illegal monopoly and become the world’s default search engine, the first big win for federal authorities taking on Big Tech’s market dominance.
