Dear Editor, Finally, the awaited CoI Report into the deadly fire is out and from all accounts two officers, in the main  are being held responsible, one moreso than the other, their actions, or lack thereof, being deemed dereliction of duties.

Not how I remember the Bhindranwale-Gandhi issue

Dear Editor, The Project Syndicate article (January 20th) from Ashoka Mody says the following about Prime Minister Indira Gandhi: “Her pandering to Hindus in the Jammu and Kashmir elections, and her support for the Sikh militant Sant Bhindranwale in Punjab, further stoked Hindu identity politics.”
