Dear Editor, The writer should not be surprised or perturbed that constitutional adherence by the political party he supports is seemingly being flouted with the biennial congress being floated to be held later than constitutionally due (SN September 12), thus extending the incumbent’s executive time in office.

Funding for Islamic conference

Dear Editor, My attention was drawn to a caption on the front page of Sunday’s Kaieteur News, which read “Law firm founded by AG bids $9.6 million for Public Works contract”.

Timehri North residents facing threats

Dear Editor, Once again, the residents of Timehri North are under attack, allegedly by well-known persons, some of whom are currently employed as ‘staff’ at the Cheddi Jagan International Air-port and own several lots in the disputed area.
