Mr Williams should try the hot water treatment

Dear Editor, So sorry to read about Mr Rupert Williams from East Canje and the “aches and pains” he has had to endure for the past two years or so, particularly as the medical doctors “don’t know what is wrong with him” and therefore, presumably, cannot recommend suitable treatment.  

The existing scant data available makes it difficult to predict accurately when and where erosion will affect the sea defences

Dear Editor, In a letter by Mr Philip Allsopp captioned “If the pattern of erosion is studied it is possible to predict where it will occur and plan maintenance accordingly” (08.04.08) he implied that Mr Malcolm Alli whom he did not identify in his letter but whose letters he referred to in Stabroek News stated that he seems to misunderstand the behavioural pattern of erosion on the Guyana Coast.

No evidence so far of misappropriation of funds

Dear Editor, In reference to an article carried by the Kaieteur News on Wednesday 9th April titled “GuySuCo Directors flirt with GuySuCo $$ millions”, the Board of Directors of GuySuCo wishes to make the following statement.

Dear Editor, I opened your newspapers and was greeted with the welcome news of government advertising once again in your newspaper.

This man needs medical help

Dear Editor, Rupert Williams, 53, of Burn Bush Dam, East Canje, has been bed- ridden for the past 2 years suffering with aches and pains to his upper body, and has been rapidly pining away.

We really enjoyed our trip to the Kumu Falls

Dear Editor, I am not only encouraged but it is a pleasure to respond to the letters by Mr Leon Suseran captioned “Plan a trip to the Rupununi you won’t regret it” (08.04.01) and “In our own backyards there are jewels waiting to be discovered” (KN 08.03.30).
