Dear Editor, It is very important for the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security to expand its services throughout the country, to cope with the many problems of citizens, especially in certain areas, which arose of long neglect by the previous administration.

Dear Editor, It is shameful that some teachers and schools are still trying to exploit children and their parents by illegally imposing such things as contingency fees and charging for other things such as for entry to schools or for sitting examinations.

VAT will be harder to administer than the C-Tax

Dear Editor, I refer to a letter by Mr Khurshid Sattaur, the Commissioner General of the Guyana Revenue Authority captioned “The Guyana Revenue Authority has made improvements in tax collection over the years and will implement VAT efficiently” in response to my letter captioned “The GRA couldn’t administer the Consumption Tax so how will it administer the VAT.”
