Dear Editor, Tuesday January 30, 2007 marked the 1st anniversary of the death of my brother, talk show host and political activist Ronald Waddell, who was brutally executed by merciless murderers and cowards of the underworld who seem to have immunity for the murders they commit.

Dear Editor, One year ago, January 30, 2006, my beloved partner, journalist and advocate, Ronald Waddell was gunned down as he entered his car parked outside our home.

Dear Editor, I refer to a letter by Mr. Jason Hinds captioned “There have been many improvements at the airport” (07.01.27).

Dear Editor, The press on Monday reported on the effort by the Guyana Marketing Company (GMC) to sell zero-rated and exempt products in light of price increases seen with the introduction of VAT.

Dear Editor, It was rather unfortunate that Internet services were not among the most recent zero- rated items approved by the government.
