Dear Editor, Kindly have this letter published in your most informative newspaper, for a most worthy cause of curbing noise nuisance from Sita’s Bar, located in Station Street, Kitty, Georgetown.

Dear Editor, The Guyana Public Service Union (GPSU) has taken umbrage to the fact that its press releases and letters, that most often are critical of the Government, are never carried by the Chronicle, the State owned and obviously controlled media.

Dear Editor, We refer to the letter by Shamshun Mohamed in your edition yesterday headed “The bizarre saga of the ship, the bridge and the government continues.”

Dear Editor, It is common knowledge that the teaching profession is one where the female gender is the majority, but have we ever really wondered why?

Dear Editor, I agree with most of what Sahadeo Bates’ letter said in SN …Society remains unconvinced Government is serious in the fight against Violence Against Women – Stabroek News.

Dear Editor, The call that ‘much more community support is needed to protect vulnerable older folks’ (News Room Nov 29) following the gruesome murders of two elderly women, one day apart, does not take into account in these particular cases, family members, and female members, were allegedly involved.

Dear Editor, It is being recorded that billions of dollars are spent on infrastructural development in this country, Guyana, but look around, especially on the roads and bridges and you would wonder who is fooling who, really.

Dear Editor, In my letter of November 29, 2022, published in Stabroek News, I had argued that Attorney General Mohabir Anil Nandlall is not taking seriously the evidence indicating an unusually high voter turnout in the General Elections of March 2, 2020.

Dear Editor, There is a video showing the constant disrespect to the rule of law, pedestrians and fellow motorists as some seek to fulfill their selfish financial obligations.

Dear editor, I recently wrote that the UN was dead wrong to suggest solar power as a better source of power for Guyana than natural gas.

Dear Editor, I hope this letter attract the attention of someone who has the authority to stop the dreadful noise nuisance that emanates on a nightly basis from Sita’s Bar & Liquid Love at Station Street, Kitty. 

Dear Editor, America is back in Venezuela.  Well, Chevron has been officially cleared to set up shop across the border to make public what was happening on the sly. 

Dear Editor, There are various types of violence that are constantly being committed against women and the five main ones are physical violence, verbal violence (including hate speech), psychological violence, sexual violence and socio-economic violence.

Dear Editor, It is interesting what is going on in Georgetown.

Dear Editor, The saga of the ship, the bridge and government continues and is unfolding with daily twists and turns.

Dear Editor, When the West Indies team was knocked out of the recently concluded world cup, one newspaper headlined them as “Worst Indies.”

Dear Editor, The Stabroek News in its 29/11/22 edition published a letter bearing the bold caption “Most citizens would expect that a responsible attorney general would take the evidence presented seriously”.

Dear Editor, The Guyanese American Chamber of Commerce (GACC), in conjunction with the Guyana Business Journal (GBJ), will host a forum and reception in Florida on December 14, entitled ‘Pathways to Guyana’s Economic Prosperity in this Era of Oil and Gas’.

Dear Editor, I write to express my concern over the potentially incendiary rhetoric about a ‘bloated list,’ the listing of deceased persons; voter impersonation and the unconstitutional and reckless call for the introduction of restrictive measures such as biometrics at polling stations raised time and again by Messrs Norton, Alexander, Lowe and Hughes.

Dear Editor, Like Mr Boodram, in his letter (SN November 29, 2023), I too find ‘rather astounding,’ the proposal that Guyanese be ‘consulted’ on whether our children should be subjected to ‘corporal punishment.’
