Dear Editor,  I like Tony Vieira’s letter in yesterday’s SN. It was refreshingly nationalistic and ungreedy – something so lacking in Guyana, I like how he began about the people being hypocrites, hinting and hitting at big people in high positions.

Dear Editor, The incessant cries by PNCR operatives and some opposition elements over alleged race discrimination in allocations of state’s resources could hardly find support in available evidence.

Dear Editor, In launching the ‘1000 Men On Mission initiative’, the president’s speech was populated with precepts such as ‘shouldering responsibility’; ‘becoming more supportive’ and ‘acting collectively.’

Dear Editor, The writer could not help being self-conscious of the exceptionally senior age at which he functioned as an Executive Director in the sugar industry – the country’s largest employer, and of feeling lucky as not to be so buffeted as the newly appointed Chairman of GECOM.

Dear Editor, As the representative of the International Decade for the People of African Descent Assembly-Guyana (IDAPADA-G), I attended the recent consultation on the proposed amendments to the Representation of the People Act and the National Registration Act.

Dear Editor, Here, in “Little Guyana,” New York, pride has surged once again, as Guyanese and Caribbean cricket legend, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, a former captain of the West Indies team, was inducted into the ICC’s Hall of Fame, joining cricket’s most celebrated players.

Dear Editor, Recently, Minister Parag, who has parliamentary responsibility for Region 5, ventured into Belladrum to inspect a building to be used for developmental activities for persons in that area.

Dear Editor, In response to the letter from the Registrar of the Supreme Court in the November 4th edition of Stabroek News the aggrieved members of the public relied on the information provided by the Legal Practitioners Committee (LPC) Office that the Committee had not been constituted. 

Dear Editor, I have taken notice of the headlines in KN of November 6, 2022, “Guyanese Still in the Dark—-: As another Foreign Company boasts of gold fever in Guyana.”

Dear Editor, I hate hypocrisy and I really don’t care who the perpetrator is.
