Dear Editor, I have been approached by several newly promoted Officers and Ranks of the Guyana Police Force, some of their family members, relatives and friends, media personnel, and concerned citizens regarding the apparent impending legal challenges to the promotions released on July 3, 2022, by the current Police Service Com-mission and Administration of the Force.

Dear Editor, July 10th, 2022 marks 44 years since the rigged Constitutional Referendum of July 10th, 1978.

Dear Editor, It’s remarkable sometimes what a little distance from the Guyana homeland can do to either distress, or refresh one’s mind.

Dear Editor, Questionable conduct seems to be the order of the day under this administration and it continues unabated.

Dear Editor, One hopes that the group of cajolers who ‘visited’ Buxton recently were not bemused by its ‘Friendship’ participants’ apparent patience with promises, for they would have substantively beguiled themselves to believe that the exercise in tokenism had impressed the descendants of independent and productive former slaves, unlike some of the visitors who very likely believed in their own insincerity.

Dear Editor, American Basketball  Star Athlete, Brittney Griner, who is currently detained by the Russian Government for a drugs related matter (illegal possession of cannabis)  indeed give me a shock after reading a Reuters Press Report dated July 7, 2022 at 12:48 pm and captioned ‘U.S.

Dear Editor, I learned with utter dismay that the illegal and not fully constituted Police Service Commission led by pastor, Patrick Findlay unlawfully promoted two hundred and fifty-three members of the Guyana Police Force ranging from inspectors to assistant commissioners.
