Dear Editor,  Mr. Hamilton Green refers to “Ripley’s Belief it or not” to express his incredulity about an astronomical increase in the rental fees for the National Cultural Center.

Dear Editor Some months ago it was stated the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) and the Guyana Police Force (GPF) were collaborating with regards to regulations governing the use of the popular electric bikes. 

Dear Editor, The records would show that the factory at Uitvlugt sugar estate, West Coast, Demerara, has been malfunctioning for some years, perhaps more than its counterparts in other locations, all of which had to cope with decades old equipment.

 Dear Editor, I had to write this letter because like most Guyanese I have a very negative impression of the Guyana Police Force and its members and so I was pleasantly surprised when recently I had to interact with three members of the force who were completely professional with the way they dealt with my matter, yet at the same time they were courteous and friendly.

Dear Editor, As members of the Global Afrikan Congress or GAC, we were immensely proud of the initial stance of CARICOM governments, that they would have boycotted the Summit of the Americas if Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua- three sister countries – were not invited to attend the Summit.
