Dear Editor, I am writing on behalf of the voices of the Movement to express our deep concern regarding the current political landscape in Guyana under the People’s Progressive Party (PPP).

Dear Editor, As I wandered through the streets of Georgetown these days, I couldn’t help but notice the stark contrast in the city’s realities.

Dear Editor, I am witnessing with laughter mixed with concern, the uncontrolled tirade, panic, fearfulness, intimidation, and emotional distress exhibited by our VP Jagdeo from the minute that eminent Attorney Nigel Hughes was elected to serve as the AFC Leader.

Dear Editor, After months of it being duly constituted, the Constitutional Reform Commission had its first meeting at which the deputy chair was elected (in absentia). 

Dear Editor, The information on royalties and profit oil may be found on the Bank of Guyana’s website in the Natural Resource Fund (NRF) Quarterly Reports.

Dear Editor, This letter seeks to highlight the disparity between Exxon’s immense financial power and Guyana’s growing, yet comparatively modest, economic stature.

Dear Editor, I have never seen Bharrat Jagdeo running so scared.

Dear Editor, Contrary to AFC leader, Mr. Nigel Hughes’ false claim that a feasibility study was not done for the Skeldon Modernization Project, a feasibility study was in fact done by Booker Tate.

Dear Editor,      Religion remains an integral component in the conduct of our daily lives for most of us; yet the significance and appreciation of the messenger remains very modest.

Dear Editor, I am writing to provide clarification on the recent article published regarding the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Archery Guyana Inc.,

Dear Editor, I am writing to draw urgent attention to a pressing issue affecting the farmers of Hope and Craig East Bank Demerara villages.

Dear Editor, Please permit me, as a taxpayer, space in your newspaper to query the validity of Asha Kissoon’s continues occupancy of a Parliamentary seat in Guyana’s Parliament and the lack of traction on GECOM’s part to query/remove Asha Kissoon from the Parliamentary seat she is still occupying.

Dear Editor,  Almost four years ago I wrote the President making observations for the reform of the elections vote-counting system.

Dear Editor, The news of P.F. Chang’s grand opening in Guyana has stirred a pot of sweet and sour hilarity that even the most seasoned chefs of our beloved local Chinese restaurants would find hard to digest.

Dear Editor, Your paper is commended for the editorial  `The cost of living question’ (Jul 8) and your series on the subject — inflation’s impact on the poor.

Dear Editor, The Capping Stack is here and many are expressing joy, allow me to be the voice for the other side of this coin; the decision to park a Capping Stack in Guyana was an example of a government caving into pressure from the local, ever-fearful, anti-oil environmental ‘activists’ at the expense of the Guyanese people.

Dear Editor, This country makes me laff till I cry.  Exxon’s Alistair Routledge took it upon himself to stick his nose and weigh-in on a very sensitive domestic political issue in Guyana. 

Dear Editor, There is a need in Guyana for civil society to hold the Government and Opposition (basically, the politicians) accountable.
