I have not written a letter to the press in a very long time but I cannot let Mr Herbert Allen’s brief reply to former President Donald Ramotar’s letter headlined “Hamas is not a terrorist organization” pass without comment.

On Tuesday morning, while reading the newspapers, I came across the article Queen’s College celebrating 180 years of excellence and I bemoan the fact that in that lovely picture where I see maybe 1000 heads gathered at the Cultural Centre depicting current and past students of Queen’s College gathered at the National Cultural Centre (Photos, Ministry of Education), I was not there and was not even invited.

The reported sexual assault allegations at St. Joseph High School need to be investigated by the Guyana Police Force (GPF), and the Ministry of Human Services needs to be involved.
