Dear Editor, An abuse of power was very much evident when a traffic constable (name and number supplied) who is attached to Suddie station in Region 2 instituted 4 charges separately by way of summons against myself and my nephew for offences that were never committed.

As the year 2017 winds to a close, the tragic loss of life through violent crime and road accidents continues to cast a spotlight on the Guyana Police Force (GPF), exposing its failure at fulfilling its mandate to protect and to serve the Guyanese populace.

Dear Editor, The recent landmark rulings in relation to No 40 and Seafield by Chief Justice (ag) Roxane George whereby President David Granger has been deemed to have acted unconstitutionally and unlawfully are cause for concern.

Dear Editor, From time to time, government agencies take a public media beating at the hands of irate citizens, who have been subjected to either frustration or impropriety.

Dear Editor, The editors of Staboek News find it editorially judicious to continue publishing misrepresentations and propaganda, of which they are fully well aware, of a known boastful supporter of the PPP, Vishnu Bisram.

Dear Editor, The young lady who willingly and naively handed over twenty thousand dollars, from all appearances, to someone she did not know, was to my mind gullible; she was easy pickings (‘Caught in a foreign exchange scam’ SN, December 23).
