Dear Editor, The West Indies Cricket Board has so many issues, among them, changes in selection policy, the hiring of a coach and a sports psychologist, and the usual preparation necessary for a tour, so it is amazing that there has been virtually no preparation reported in the media for the upcoming English tour.

Dear Editor, It must be of concern that Chair persons and a director of State Boards under the purview of the Prime Minister have resigned.

Dear Editor, With oil production projected for 2020, the coalition government would be foolish, both politically and economically, to wait until then to capitalize on its projected oil revenues.

Dear Editor, Ian Chappell’s silly comments about Pakistan’s performance and his suggestion that maybe they should not be invited to Australia in future, are very similar to those made by himself and others about the West Indies tour of Australia last year.
