The West Indies Cricket Board has so many issues, among them, changes in selection policy, the hiring of a coach and a sports psychologist, and the usual preparation necessary for a tour, so it is amazing that there has been virtually no preparation reported in the media for the upcoming English tour.

Ian Chappell’s silly comments about Pakistan’s performance and his suggestion that maybe they should not be invited to Australia in future, are very similar to those made by himself and others about the West Indies tour of Australia last year.
