Dear Editor,
Not only because it’s Guyana’s Golden Jubilee year, but also with 2015-2024 marking the UN International Decade for People of African Descent, the University of Westminster Students’ Union (UWSU) on 22nd October hosted London’s only Golden Jubilee conference to address Guyana’s post-colonial legacy.
Dear Editor,
A brief space please, as well as some assistance in this attempt to serve an injunction on History, re the USA 2016 elections campaign, which just happens to be the most entertaining spectacle ever enacted on an international stage.

Dear Editor,

Dear Editor,

Oftentimes, the failures of the police force tend to be seen mainly in egregious lapses in serious crimes such as the inability to contact them via 911, the absence of transport to respond to armed robberies and murders, long delays in getting to crime scenes, reluctance to engage in hot pursuit and poor investigations, follow-up and prosecution.
Dear Editor,
I am a member of the Indian Action Committee (IAC) and I believe that the letter written by Mr Abel Seetaram (‘The government has done the right thing…’ SN, November 1) who says he is an APNU+AFC Regional Councillor, is questioning unfairly the action of the IAC in writing about the use of the headquarters of the Guyana Defence Force at Camp Ayanganna for the holding of Cabinet meetings.
