Raised pavements on America St

Dear Editor, Now our garden city’s drains are de-silted and clean and parapets are cleared of bushes and we now have a free flow of the waste, stagnant, smelly, putrid water, I wonder if consideration would be given to the concrete pavements which were raised selectively and unofficially without permission, in front of some businesses in America Street.

Up the ante against crime

Dear Editor, I write with a feeling of total disgust at the spiralling crime rate and more so the way bandits have been violently desecrating our women folk, it would appear that when bandits enter a house their intention is not just to rob people of what was hard earned but to violate and disgrace their victims.
