Dear Editor, It was to be expected that the Guyana Post Office Corporation would rise to its height to vacuously diffuse a systemic failure on already publicised security breaches, as if the latter were not reflective of the corporate management capacity, as well as of course being irrelevant to the complaint (GPOC is working to address delays at some locations,’ SN, August 26).

Thoughts on ethnic balancing

Unhealthy public health sector

It should come as no surprise to anyone that senior nurses are speaking out about the malady affecting the operations at Guyana’s premier public health institution – the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH).

‘Appalled’

Dear Editor, With due respect, I am absolutely appalled at the standard of reporting seen in your online news reports; it is sometimes quite embarrassing to know that this quality of reporting comes from a country where English is the primary language.
