Dear Editor, I write to you today with a heart heavy with frustration and an urgent plea for accountability regarding the alarming fire situation that unfolded at the Skeldon Market on Monday, 27 November 2023.

Dear Editor, As citizens of Guyana we believe we have a right to expect a certain standard of behaviour from those persons who seek and are given positions of leadership; and from whom we must expect conduct befitting role models for our young people. 

Dear Editor, To suggest that a female politician cannot be called a ‘lowlife’ and, is an act of misogyny, is to suggest that females are weaker, are unable to compete on equal terms and, need the protection of men.

Dear Editor, On my 75th birthday dated a few days ago I received a package overseas posted  by my loved ones for me with a collection of comics, a gift to add to my over five thousand comics collected.
