Dear Editor, I’m willing to bet that if either Cheddi Jagan or Forbes Burnham was in charge of this country Guyana would have severed ties with Israel long ago.

Dear Editor, I refer to a rather preposterous letter which appeared in your issue of Friday November 10, 2023 headlined: `Sugges-tion that city is being financially strangled due to political gamesmanship is baseless’, signed by 11 PPP/C Councillors. 

Dear Editor,  Chris Ram, yesterday, brought our  attention, at this very time of  intense border/hegemonic disputes, all of which have remarkable similarities, to the work of Cedric Joseph on the nature of the historical  Guyana-Venezuela controversy.
