Dear Editor, Reference is made to Elson Low’s letter in the Stabroek News edition of July 10th, 2023, with the caption, `UG’s debate audience seemed to readily accept that Guyana cannot continue to not be a real place’.

Dear Editor, I sense trouble in paradise.  Considering the ripples of unease in the PNC, it would be more on the money to say that there is possibly looming trouble in purgatory.
