Dear Editor, According to rule 3((a)ii) of the Guyana Trades Union Congress’s constitution a criterion for becoming an affiliate is the submission of a copy of the union’s balance sheet and its annual returns and a copy of its current Collective Labour Agreement.

Dear Editor, I laughed as I read the Kaieteur News (13-11-07) article captioned “UNICEF condemns sexual abuse of children”.

Dear Editor, The businessman accused of indecently assaulting the school children has been remanded to prison.

Dear Editor, I am in complete agreement with the sentiments expressed in the letter of Diane Lee captioned, “Police should not question children in the presence of alleged abusers”.
