Dear Editor, Let me establish at the outset that I am no legal expert, but I have had a working knowledge and experience with the Anti Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism law and regulations in Guyana.

Dear Editor, A few weeks ago the Attorney General, Anil Nandlall, made comments on our judiciary.

Dear Editor, The headline ‘GTU has new proposal to end strike action’ (KN June 21), suggested the union was armed with a plethora of measures to lay out. 

Last week it was reported that a group of forty-nine business owners had written President Irfaan Ali about the number of non-naturalised Chinese-owned businesses mushrooming across the country.

Dear Editor, It may be in order to remind ourselves that the late Pablo Escobar also enjoyed widespread popularity in his country because of his extensive charitable works.

Dear Editor,   As Mayor of the City of Georgetown and a longstanding member of the PNCR (People’s National Congress Reform), on the eve of our party’s congress; an important event, I write this letter and do admit that I am profoundly concerned as to why some cause the business of the party to be played out publicly.  

Dear Editor, Red Thread condemns every act of sexual violence against every woman, girl, boy, man, child, person.
