Dear Editor, A few days ago a young girl was horrifically killed in the blossoming of her youth.

Dear Editor, The failure of ‘the police’ to immediately respond to reports of various transgressions continues to be blamed on the non-availability of police vehicles.

We begin from the perspective that traffic management, when added to overall law enforcement, saddles the Guyana Police Force with a level of responsibility which the human and material resources at its disposal does not allow it to deliver to the general satisfaction of the citizenry as a whole.

Dear Editor, Please permit me, through you, to ask either our Police Commissioner, Traffic Chief, or even our Minister of Public Security a few questions in the light of recent events.
