Kenyan Alex Ekesa brought his talents back to the ‘Land of the Flying Fish’ and ran off with his third consecutive Run Barbados Marathon title yesterday.

Chinaman spinner Joshua Charles, along with pacers Emmanuel Lewis and Samuel Barkoye, contrived to bowl out West Demerara U-15 for 52 inside 17 overs to engineer a commanding win for the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA), when the Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) Inter-Association U-15 Championship commenced yesterday.

Teams fume as Big Bash match abandoned due to dangerous pitch

(Reuters) – Cricket Australia will conduct a “thorough review” into yesterday’s abandoned Big Bash League (BBL) match in Geelong after the Melbourne Renegades-Perth Scorchers clash was called off with 6.5 overs bowled due to safety concerns about the pitch.
