Travis Head leads Australia to sixth World Cup title

AHMEDABAD, India, (Reuters) – Australia won a record-extending sixth 50-overs World Cup title after opener Travis Head smashed a magnificent century to fashion their six-wicket victory in today’s final against the tournament’s form team India.

Guyana’s dominance continued on day 2 of IGG

After a dream start on Friday in Paramaribo, Suriname, Team Guyana’s dominance on the track continued yesterday at the Inter-Guiana Games (IGG), as Tianna Springer, Ezekiel Newton, and Javon Roberts recorded gold medal performances.

Elton Dharry will make his ring return on December 9. He will be matching gloves with Ecuadorean, Rafael Tirado Gordillo for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Super flyweight Gold title.
