Mackenzie, Queen’s College, and Kwakwani among winners in Basketball Festival

Mackenzie High Queen’s College, and Diamond Secondary recorded wins in the Boy’s U16 division, whilst Kwakwani stormed to win in the U14 section, when the ExxonMobil National School Basketball Festival continued yesterday at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.

Zhang, Lall crowned Open and Girl’s National U16 Champions

Alexander Zhang and Anaya Lall emerged victorious in the Open and Girl’s divisions respectively when the Guyana Chess Federation (GCF) staged its National U16 Championship on Monday at the Marian Academy Auditorium, Carifesta Avenue.

(CMC) – Vice-captain Shemaine Campbelle pinched a single off the final ball of the game to hand West Indies Women an unnecessarily nervous two-wicket victory over Ireland Women in the opening Twenty20 International yesterday.
