Narine bowls Windies to 4-1 series triumph

BASSETERRE, St Kitts,  CMC – Mystery off-spinner Sunil Narine weaved a web around New Zealand to once again deceive their batsmen as West Indies kept up the pressure to win the final One-Day International here by 20 runs yesterday.

Khan donates tractor to LGC

The Lusignan Golf Club received a donation of a tractor from newly elected President Attorney-at-law Jerome Khan who had made the pledge to provide the club with one during his acceptance speech at the recently  held Annual General Meeting.

Guyana netball team lose 8-124 to Jamaica

Wismar/Christianburg down Waramadong 5-2 in Digicel final

Power, size and speed trumped skill and technique yesterday evening when Wismar/Christianburg Secondary, led by five goals from Marmalique Davidson, hammered Waramadong Secondary to a 5-2 defeat in the final of the Digicel Schools Football Championships at the Police Sports Club ground, Eve Leary.

Guyana makes unflattering debut at AFNA tournament in T/dad

From Iva Wharton in Trinidad compliments of Digicel Guyana The America Federation of Netball Associations (AFNA) tournament opened on Saturday in Trinidad and Tobago with Guyana one of nine teams that participated in the march past at the indoor netball facility of the Hasley Crawford Stadium.
