Pakistan recall Malik after Misbah intervention

KARACHI, (Reuters) – Pakistan’s former captain Shoaib Malik was dropped from the limited overs squad for the series against England only to be drafted back into the setup hours later after a request from captain Misbah-ul-Haq yesterday.

Basketball League to bounce off Feb. 18 with 14 teams

By Emmerson Campbell Executive members of the Guyana Amateur Basketball Association (GABA) yesterday launched the GABA Basketball League for 2012 and also presented trophies to the top three teams in the Banks DIH Limited 2011 tournament.

The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) has donated half a million dollars to veteran cricket journalist and international cricket commentator Sean Devers to assist him to undergo an operation overseas.
