NBA adds two more games to Xmas Day schedule

(Reuters) – The National Basketball Association (NBA) confirmed yesterday that the 2011-12 season will start on Christmas Day with five high-profile games, including a blockbuster showdown between the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat.

Hockey Festival shifted to National Gymnasium

The 7th Diamond Mineral Water International Hockey Festival has been shifted from the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH) to the National Gymnasium after permission was granted on Wednesday to the Guyana Hockey Board by the Director of Sport Secretariat and the Guyana Volleyball Federation.
