GCC, DCC ‘B’ draw in Brainstreet under-15

Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) played out to a draw against Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) ‘B-Team’ in the only game that bowled off yesterday in either of the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA), Brainstreet under-15 or Carib Beer/Friends of Cricket Heroes Cup 1st Division competitions.

Wiggins to have surgery on broken collarbone

AIGURANDE, France, (Reuters) – Bradley Wiggins, who crashed out of the Tour de France on Friday, will undergo surgery on a broken left collarbone and is expected back on his bike within 10 days, Team Sky said yesterday.
