Prime Minister declares IGG open

Prime Minister and acting President of Guyana, Samuel Hinds officially declared the Inter-Guiana Games (IGG) open yesterday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, following an opening ceremony with a march-past of  athletes and officials from Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana.

USA team promises ‘high level’ competition

Mo Shafi on behalf of the USA team for the Guyana Open Golf Tournament issued a warning to the rest of the field, especially the Guyanese contingent, that they will have a difficult task tomorrow and Sunday at the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC).
