Baldie spurs Mae’s to U18 title

Brandon Baldie won two matches and Akesia Nedd one to help Mae’s `A’ stop the rampaging Bishops’ High School team in the final of the 18 years and under Guyana Table Tennis Association/National Sports Commission  Business School sponsored schools’ team tournament Monday night at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

PWDs to benefit from swimming instructors course

Persons with Disabilities (PWD) will have a chance to benefit from the National Sports Commission and the Special Olympics Committee of Guyana Swimming Instructors Course that commenced yesterday at  Colgrain Swimming Pool on Camp Street.

‘Friday Night Fights’ in Guyana to be broadcast live

The Guyana Amateur Boxing Association (GABA) and the Guyana Boxing Board of Control (GBBC) have teamed up with the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sport and National Communication Network (NCN) to present ‘Friday Night Fights’ – a Pro-Am feature which will be held on the last Friday of every month.
