Under-19 cricketer Foo has eyes set on the maroon cap

National Under-19 all rounder Jonathan Foo says he is focused on making Guyana’s senior limited-overs team for this year’s tournament when he spoke to Stabroek Sport during the rain intervals on the final day of the GCB/GTM Under-19 match Demerara match.

Courts PeeWee Under-11 competition launched

The second annual Georgetown Football Association (GFA) organized Courts Pee Wee Under-11 round-robin knockout competition was officially launched in the Training Room of Courts Guyana Limited main branch, Main Street yesterday.

Lyght, Garraway, Squires guide DCC to victory over Merryboys

A pugnacious innings from opener Andrew Lyght Jnr, followed by controlled  bowling from off spinner Dennis Squires and national fast bowler Trevon Garraway, propelled national T20 champions Demerara Cricket Club to a seven-run victory over Trinidad and Tobago’s Merryboys in their opening match of the West Indies Players Association (WIPA) T20 club championship Monday night.

Georgetown’s Knockout Kings Sunburst Camptown received their award for winning the Banks DIH sponsored Premium Beer Knockout Competition which was organized by the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) in a simple ceremony in the conference room of the Banks DIH building.
