19th Annual Kashif and Shanghai Tournament…

Church’s Chicken comes onboard It is safe to say that the Kashif and Shanghai Organization (K&S) has done it again by securing Church’s Chicken as another collaborator for their 19th annual Kashif and Shanghai Football Tournament which kicked off last  Sunday at the Mackenzie Sports Club, Linden.

Topp XX, Pele win on opening night By Rawle Toney Five-time champions Bakewell Topp XX successfully began their quest to win a sixth Kashif and Shanghai title while city team Pele got on course for their first title when the 19th  edition of the tournament opened Sunday last in Linden.

Grudge match fails to bounce off

– “promoter went past contracted time”  –  Sports Hall Manager ‘To be the best, you have to beat the best’ But that maxim could not become a reality for either Dyna Ravens or Courts Pacesetters basketball clubs as the long-anticipated grudge-match between them which was scheduled for the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH) Saturday night did not bounce off leaving several fans dejected.

Linden community deserves better, says Kashif Muhammad Co-director of the Kashif and Shanghai organization, Kashif Muhammad says the  decision to relocate the finals of the annual tournament was to send a message that the Linden community which has contributed much to Guyana’s development deserves better.
