‘We are not annoyed’

– Says MSC over moving of K&S finals; club proposes $150M modernization By Rawle Toney The management of the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) in Linden says that they are not annoyed over the decision to move the Kashif and Shanghai finals to the National Stadium at Providence but were somewhat peeved over the reason given by the organizers.

Barrington, Barnwell finds favour with selectors

All top teams and top individual performers at  the recently concluded Georgetown Football Association’s (GFA) Guyana Telephone and Telegraph (GT&T) Cellink Plus sponsored Premier League competition, were rewarded on Thursday evening in the conference room of the Water Chris Hotel.

GCA makes donation to under-17 cricketers

The Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA), the body in charge of cricket in the capital city, yesterday made a small financial donation to eight of the 14 cricketers who are members of the Guyana under-17 team.
