England win Multan thriller to clinch series in Pakistan

MULTAN, Pakistan, (Reuters) – England pulled off a series-clinching 26-run victory against Pakistan in the dramatic second test in Multan yesterday in a fresh vindication of their highly entertaining brand of cricket.

Hooper calls for changes at top

ADELAIDE, Australia, CMC – Expressing embarrassment at West Indies’ historic loss in the just concluded Test series against Australia and warning that the side’s decline in the longest format of the game could further worsen, former West Indies captain Carl Hooper has called for changes at the top.

ADELAIDE, Australia, CMC – Beleaguered West Indies were inflicted with their worst-ever Test defeat here yesterday when Australia demolished them by 419 runs before lunch on the penultimate of the final Test at Adelaide Oval.
