Chile calls for FIFA ruling on Ecuador player

(Reuters) – The Chilean Football Federation yesterday asked FIFA to rule on the eligibility of an Ecuador player, alleging he used a false passport and birth certificate and throwing into question the Andean side’s participation in this year’s World Cup.

Football for Schools project launched

The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) in partnership with FIFA, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, officially launched the Football for Schools Project yesterday at the National Training Centre, Providence.
