Royals reach preliminary final with Powell, Hetmyer in line-up

(CMC) – Rajasthan Royals qualified for the preliminary final of the Indian Premier League, with West Indies Twenty20 World Cup captain Rovman Powell and World Cup-bound teammate Shimron Hetmyer playing minor roles in their four-wicket win against Royal Challengers Bangalore yesterday.

Police support ‘Settlement of All Arguments’ street-ball championship

As the 2nd edition of the Youth Basketball Guyana (YBG) Tertiary Basketball League (TBL II) continued on Sunday, the University of Guyana (UG), Linden Technical Institute (LTI) and Government Technical institute (GTI) all chalked up wins at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue, Georgetown.
